On the heels of landing Stamford (Conn.) King running back Silas Redd on Saturday, the Nittany Lions have landed commitment No. 5 today.

Harrison City (Pa.) Penn-Trafford offensive lineman Luke Graham gave Penn State assistant coach Tom Bradley the good news this afternoon.

“I talked to Coach Bradley on the phone a couple of times over the weekend,” Graham said.  “I thought about things and called him today and committed.  Everything just clicked.”

The 6-foot-6 and 255-pound Graham had scholarship offers from Penn State, Pitt, Stanford, Virginia, Maryland, Illinois, Northwestern, Duke and Florida International before selecting the PSU.

“There is nothing like Penn State football,” Graham said.  “I’ll get a great education and it is close to home.  The football environment is great.  Penn State is everything I wanted in a college.”

Graham has started at right tackle for Penn-Trafford since the beginning of his sophomore season.  He did not allow a sack during his junior season.  Graham will move to guard or center for the Nittany Lions.

Graham has a 4.0-plus GPA and scored a 1750 on the SAT.
