Joe Paterno and the Penn State coaching staff remain on a roll.

Just days after adding commitments from two of the country’s top defensive line prospects - Evan Hailes (Chesapeake, Va./Oscar Smith) and DaQuan Jones (Johnson City, N.Y.) – Paterno and Co. have landed a commitment from yet another prospect who was recently in State College.

Wide receiver Levi Norwood from Waco (Texas) Midway has decided to play his college football for the Nittany Lions. Levi is the younger brother of former PSU standout receiver Jordan Norwood and the son of former Lion assistant Brian Norwood. His father is now defensive coordinator for Baylor.

The 6-foot-2, 170-pound Levi did not play football at Midway last fall after transferring from State College High.

Norwood, who was recruited by Penn State assistant Mike McQueary, has attended the Penn State football camp for several years.  He was in State College last weekend for Penn State’s Senior Camp and landed a scholarship offer from the Nittany Lions at that time.

He gave Paterno the news on Wednesday he has selected Penn State.

Paterno has his staff now have 11 commitments, including five ESPNU 150 Watch List prospects.
