The NIKE Training Camp will be in Pittsburgh on Saturday at the UPMC Sports Performance Complex.  A number of prospects the Nittany Lions are interested in are scheduled to participate, including at least one who holds a scholarship offer from Penn State.

Wide receiver/defensive back Brandon Ifill from Pittsburgh (Pa.) Penn Hills is expected to work out on Saturday.  The 6-foot and 185-pound Ifill caught 31 passes for 405 yards and three touchdowns during his junior season.  He made 37 tackles. Ifill caught 42 passes for 682 yards and seven touchdowns during his sophomore season.  He intercepted one pass.

Ifill has scholarship offers from Penn State, Pitt and Michigan, and says those three schools and Ohio State are his favorites.  He attended the Penn State-Michigan State game in State College this past season.

Ifill’s teammate, defensive back Cullen Christian, plans to attend the NIKE Camp on Saturday.  The 6-foot-1 and 185-pound Christian made 35 tackles during his junior season.  He intercepted two passes and broke-up four others.

Christian has scholarship offers from Pitt and Michigan.  The Nittany Lions have not offered, but are interested.  Christian has been invited to Penn State for a spring practice session.

Canonsburg (Pa.) Canon-McMillan running back/defensive back Chad Hagan is slated to be at the NIKE Camp on Saturday.  Hagan says his three favorite schools are Penn State, Pitt and Ohio State, with PSU on top.  He would love to land an offer from Joe Pa.  Hagan’s teammate, linebacker Mike Hull, has committed to Penn State.

Paul "P.J." Jones, from McKees Rocks (Pa.) Sto-Rox, a Penn State verbal commitment, is also expected to participate at the combine.

NittanyNetwork.com will be on hand to cover those three prospects as they work out on Saturday.  We also will have information on any other prospects that stand out that the Nittany Lions may be interested in.

Prospects from Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia and New Jersey are expected to be in attendance.
