Warren (Mich.) Mott defensive end C.J. Olaniyan, who has visited and holds a scholarship offer from Penn State, was in Columbus Saturday for Ohio State’s jersey scrimmage.

"They had a little practice scrimmage," Olaniyan said.  "It was alright.  When they showed me around it was kind of like Michigan State, but a little bigger."

Olaniyan visited Michigan State on Tuesday and attended Michigan's spring game last Saturday.  In late March, he visited Penn State.

"I've seen a lot of schools, so (Ohio State) wasn't anything new, just bigger," Olaniyan said.  "I said 'Hello' to Terrelle Pryor in the weight room."

Olaniyan has scholarship offers from Penn State, Michigan, Michigan State, Wisconsin, Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Indiana, Purdue, Oregon, Kentucky, Maryland, Virginia Tech and Central Michigan.

After visiting Ohio State on Saturday Olaniyan headed for Kentucky and visited the Wildcats on Sunday.  Today he is visiting Cincinnati before heading back home to Michigan.

Olaniyan continues to say he does not have a leader and is still considering the Nittany Lions.

“Penn State is in the running,” he said.  “I liked my visit there.”

The 6-foot-4 and 230-pound Olaniyan is one of the top prospects in Michigan.  He has been a varsity starter at defensive end and as a flex receiver since the beginning of his sophomore season.

Olaniyan made 85 tackles including nine sacks last season.  He had 14 tackles for loss.  On the other side of the ball Olaniyan caught 33 passes and scored three times.
