Tight end Ben Koyack from Oil City, Pa., is one of the top sophomores in Big Ten country.  The 6-foot-5 and 228-pound Koyack attended the NIKE Football Training Camp at Penn State on Saturday and turned in an impressive performance.

Koyack is every bit of his listed size, runs good routes and made some outstanding catches in traffic.  Koyack also showed he has very good blocking skills.

Koyack, who caught 48 passes and scored 10 times during his sophomore season, already has over a dozen scholarship offers including Penn State, Pitt, Florida, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Boston College, Maryland, Virginia Tech, North Carolina State and Akron.

“I like Ohio State, Penn State, West Virginia and Pitt,” Koyack said at the conclusion of the Nike Camp.  “Those are my favorites.”

This past weekend was the second time Koyack has been to Penn State.

“I went to the Penn State-Michigan game,” Koyack said.  “It would be amazing to play on a field in front of 100,000 fans.  Penn State has really good tradition.”

Nittany Network caught up with Koyack before he left State College on Saturday for a video interview with the star sophomore.
