Baltimore (Md.) City College wide receiver and Nittany Lions commitment Adrian Coxson was in State College last weekend for the NIKE Football Training Camp at Penn State.

The 6-foot-1 and 195-pound Coxson showed off his many talents in an impressive performance.

Coxson has been a varsity starter at wide receiver since his freshman season and a starter at cornerback the past two seasons.

Coxson caught 34 passes for 821 yards during his junior season.  He averaged 24 yards per catch and had eight touchdowns.  Coxson intercepted three passes.  He averaged 23 yards per punt return with two touchdowns, and 20 yards per kickoff return with a touchdown.

Before committing to the Nittany Lions, Coxson had approximately a dozen scholarship offers including Penn State, Florida, Pitt, Michigan, West Virginia, Notre Dame, Maryland, Boston College and Connecticut.

Coxson committed to the Nittany Lions on April 30, five days after attending Penn State’s Spring Game and two days before making the trip back to State College for the NIKE Camp.

Nittany Network has a video interview with Coxson during a break in the camp, and also has action footage as Coxson worked out.
