Our Sunday feature this week is my latest edition of Nittany Network’s 2010 Penn State Offers & Odds.
This is a list of the remaining prospects Joe Paterno and Co. are pursuing. I realize there are a few other players Penn State has offered but these 11 are the prime targets, listed in order of probability they ultimately don the Blue and White based on what I’m hearing – and feeling - right now.
LB Khairi Fortt
Considering: Penn State, Georgia, North Carolina, Tennessee and USC
Outlook: Fortt plans to announce his college choice on Monday afternoon. When he does, I see Penn State coming out on top.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 75%
**UPDATE: Better make that 100%. Fortt verbally committed to the Nittany Lions, as expected.
DL Sharrif Floyd
Schools Considering: Penn State, South Carolina, Florida, North Carolina, Miami, Boston College and USC
Outlook: Floyd has made official visits to Florida and USC, and will visit Penn State. I see his decision coming down to one of the three and I would not bet against Joe Pa.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 55%
OL Khamrone Kolb
Schools Considering: Penn State, Virginia, Connecticut and some others
Outlook: After attending the Penn State-Temple game Kolb said the Nittany Lions lead, followed by Virginia.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 55%
OL Robby Havenstein
Schools Considering: Penn State, Maryland, Wake Forest, Virginia and Wisconsin
Outlook: Beyond predicting Havenstein ends up at Penn State, Maryland or Virginia, it is a dicey proposition pinning things down any further.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 40%
RB Marcus Lattimore
Schools Considering: Penn State, South Carolina, Oregon, North Carolina, Auburn, Georgia and Florida State
Outlook: Lattimore will visit Penn State Nov. 7. He has also scheduled trips to Auburn and Florida State. In the end, I think his decision comes down to the Nittany Lions, South Carolina, Oregon or Florida State.

WR Kenny Stills
Schools Considering: Penn State, Florida, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Washington, Oregon, Colorado, UCLA, Cal and a couple others
Outllook: Stills has made an official visit to Tennessee. He has trips set to Penn State, Oklahoma and Florida. The Nittany Lions have a shot, but in the end I think Stills goes elsewhere.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 30%
DL Mike Thornton
Schools Considering: Penn State, Georgia Tech, South Carolina, Alabama, LSU Michigan and Miami
Outlook: Thornton is working on scheduling an official visit to Penn State, most likely sometime in November.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 30%
DL James Carmon
Schools Considering: Penn State, Ole Miss, Mississippi State and Alabama
Outlook: Carmon has scheduled an official visit to Penn State for the weekend of Nov. 7, but in the end I think it’s going to be tough to get him to leave the South.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 25%
RB Storm Johnson
Schools Considering: Penn State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Florida State, Oregon and a couple others
Outlook: Johnson is a very good prospect, but the guy the Penn State staff has at the top of their running back ‘wish list’ is Marcus Lattimore.
Odds on Selecting PSU: 20%
LB Travis Williams
Schools Considering: Penn State, West Virginia, Miami, Tennessee, LSU and North Carolina
Outlook: Williams is very interested in Penn State, but I see Fortt committing to Penn State on Monday, closing the deal on linebackers this year for Joe Pa.
