I came out with the debut of my Pennsylvania top 10 class of 2010 prospects in late May.  I followed up with the second edition on Nittany Network in July.  In September, I expanded my list to a top 15 for our Sunday feature.  Now we are back with the latest edition of that Keystone State top 15.

Here is a rundown of my current top 15 prospects in the state of Pennsylvania, and how the Nittany Lions are doing in-state.

1. DL Sharrif Floyd
Schools considering:
Penn State, Florida, USC, Ohio State, South Carolina, North Carolina and Nebraska
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Floyd is not sure if he will make a visit back to Penn State or not, but I still would not count the Nittany Lions out.
Previous Ranking:  1

2. RB Corey Brown
Schools considering:
  Committed to Ohio State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Last weekend Brown had over 300 yards of total offense.
Previous Ranking: 2

3. DE/LB Dakota Royer
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Royer should be an ‘impact’ player for the Nittany Lions.
Previous Ranking:  3

4. LB Mike Hull
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Hull’s team has struggled this season, but he is the ‘real deal.’
Previous Ranking:  4

5. WR Alex Kenney
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Kenney will add speed and great athletic talent to the Penn State roster.
Previous Ranking:  5

6. OL Miles Dieffenbach
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Dieffenbach is just one of several fine in-state offensive line prospects headed to Penn State.
Previous Ranking:  7

7. QB P.J. Jones
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Despite some wavering at times, I still expect Jones to stay with his Penn State commitment.
Previous Ranking:  6

8. DB Cullen Christian
Schools considering:
Michigan, UCLA, West Virginia, Pitt and Ohio State
Penn State offer:  No
The Skinny:  Christian will announce his college choice on Nov. 24.  He currently has Michigan, West Virginia and UCLA as his top three in no particular order.
Previous Ranking:  8

9. DE Kyle Baublitz
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Baublitz committed to the Nittany Lions over scholarship offers from Pitt, Rutgers, Michigan, Michigan State, Illinois, Northwestern, West Virginia, Boston College, Virginia, Wisconsin, Maryland and others.
Previous Ranking:  9

10. OL Thomas Ricketts
Schools considering:
Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Ricketts has the potential to be a strong factor on the Penn State offensive line by his second year in State College at the latest.
Previous Ranking:  11

11. OL Luke Graham
Schools considering:
  Committed to Penn State
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Graham is slotted in as a guard for the Nittany Lions.
Previous Ranking:  10

12. QB Anthony Gonzalez
Schools considering:
  Committed to Pitt
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  Unless Christian picks Pitt, Gonzalez will be the highest ranked in-state player to select the Panthers.
Previous Ranking:  12

13. WR/DB Brandon Ifill
Schools considering:
Michigan, Pitt, West Virginia, Rutgers and Maryland
Penn State offer:  Yes
The Skinny:  It would not be surprising if Ifill and Christian picked the same college.
Previous Ranking:  13

14. DE Kenny Wilkins
Schools considering:
  Committed to Michigan
Penn State offer:  No
The Skinny:  With the shape Michigan’s defense is in, Wilkins could be a factor fairly quickly once he gets to Ann Arbor.
Previous Ranking:  15

15. OL Seth Betancourt
Schools considering:
  Committed to Boston College
Penn State offer:  No
The Skinny:  Betancourt picked the Eagles over scholarship offers from South Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Michigan State, South Carolina, Minnesota and some others.
Previous Ranking:  14
